My name is Jerney and I'm an Antwerp based artist. I'm an idealist and a storyteller. I'm a firm believer in the power of visualisation, which brings me to paint my beloved portraits of peace a lot of the time. I'm now tumbling down the rabbit hole of online teaching and I'm loving every second of it.

I'm busy filming for my first solo course right now and I enjoy thinking of ways to stuff it with lots of fun content while bringing structure and a story into it. I'm not one to hold back. I am a great lover of taking online art classes myself and I won't rest until I've created a class that is sure to please both beginners and experienced artists. Value study in my sketchbook

Making studies of the love of my life.

My tiny messengers of peace is my favourite series ever.

Charcoal is such an undervalued medium. I admit it took me a while to fall in love with it, but now I love sculpting faces with it.

When my desk is just way too messy, there's always the floor.

Size matters! My journals keep me sane during hard times.

My tiny messengers of peace were getting playful.

Another XL journal page.

Playing around with distortion.

Working intuitively in my journal.

I'm not going for likeness that often, but this man's face was intriguing and a real challenge!

But whimsical drawings are also a lot of fun!

Working on my biggest painting so far. I have so much love for this one, I can't wait to begin my second painting of this series.

I love experimenting with my acrylic inks!

Poor Ludwig... always trying to save the world. He needs a helping hand but people are so busy...

Painting from dusk till dawn.
